My second time here and has not failed. Consistently delivers quality breakfast to the table. Prompt service and accommodates to different requests. Few different types of seating available to suit purpose of your visit. Definitely will be back. Eggs Benny and big breakfast w/o sour dough. Eggs Benny sour dough was replaced with their version of hash brown. Next time will get it with our dough and the hash brown on the side. Love trying new things. Keep up the awesome vibe.

The berlin bowl is so good, yummy and the chocolate frappuccino was absolutely delicious! It had the perfect balance of rich, creamy chocolate and refreshing coldness.

Very nice restaurant. The food (Berlin Brekkie) was delicious and my sticky was YUM. I really enjoyed this experience. Rate 10 out of 10.

Stopped by for lunch on a public holiday, the service was super friendly and we didn’t have to wait ages for the food. It wasn’t too busy in Balmain and we were lucky to sit at a table outside. We both had one of the sandwich options, one with a side of chips. The food was tasty and fresh and when we went to pay the cake display looked great though we were so full we didn’t take any cakes on this visit!

Amongst the plethora of cafes located in Balmain, Berlin Bakr stands out as fantastic, well priced option. Came in on a busy Sunday and both the food and coffee arrived very quickly. Quality of food was great with fairly generous portion sizes for the big breakfast.

Amongst the trendy cafes of Balmain, this bring a touch of the classics. With a solid menu made well, some of my favourites over all the visits includes perfectly poached eggs, creamy scrambled eggs, avocado on toast & a decadent French toast. Coffee is great & staff are friendly. There is also a cabinet full of cakes, all house made. Some of my favourites are the red velvet cake loaded with cream cheese icing on top and in the middle, a good old fashioned vanilla slice, a fluffy, light NY cheesecake or a simple cupcake. The house made pies, sausage rolls are filled generously with lots of flavour from herbs and spices. Servings are generous and always expect a good feed.

Been here a number of times for either breakfast or lunch, located in a convenient spot on busy Darling St. Good amount of indoor & outdoor seating in an ok space, could possibly do with some refurbishment to make it present a little more modern. All food items I’ve tried have been pretty good, nothing at superstar level but definitely nothing bad. Sensible menu of usual cafe fare & all items I’ve had were of good quality, plus swiftly delivery to table. Bonus point for having proper newspapers to read! Service isn’t overly warm, however, it’s efficient & prompt. The cakes & dessert items to takeaway are probably my highlight, the basque cheesecake & lemon/lime tarts is excellent. Happy to return here regularly, a really good cafe in competitive area.
